The impact of our curriculum can only be measured over long periods of time as we identify how pupils are able to apply their knowledge, skills and understanding learnt and retained over time. However, curriculum quizzes are used at the end of each topic to identify the knowledge gained for specific subjects in short term, working memory. These are analysed so that gaps can be identified and addressed in future teaching and learning.

We are currently developing milestones across each key stage of the school so that the depth of knowledge pupils have can be assessed every two years through ‘Pop Tasks’ which will enable teachers and senior leaders to identify how effective our curriculum is.
